Beware of cell phone radiation can damage sperm quality!

Did you know that the sound of a phone ringing in his pockets could be a danger alarm for your sperm? Yes, that's according to results of a study that found dangerous mobile phone radiation on sperm quality. The results of some research has shown that male sperm counts mobile users have fewer, more slow-moving and damaged, compared with men who did not use the phone.

Actually, the problem is where to store the mobile phone. About two months ago, researchers from South Africa found that men who carry cell phone on your hip or in front pants pocket had sperm swim slower and also much less concentration. Though both are very influential on a man's fertility.

In fact, a recent study conducted by researchers from Turkey regarding the effects of radiation to the subject of human sperm cells in the cup which was given stained cell phone radiation exposure for one hour, suggesting that exposure causes the sperm to be abnormal, so that the difficulty reaching the egg.

Joel Moskowitz, Ph.D., director of the University of California, Berkeley Center for familiy and Community Health appealed to the men who were still in the reproductive age and used to put a cell phone in his trouser pocket, to be aware of the results of this research.

The same results are also shown in other studies conducted on mice. The researchers put the mice in special cages with mobile phones placed 2 inches from the bottom of the cage for 6 hours every day for 18 weeks. Once finished, the researchers found the percentage of live sperm decreased by 25%, from 70% previously, and the sperm cells the mice were also stuck together so it can not fertilize an egg.

However, Moskowitz said the results of this study have not yet reached a conclusion because the mechanism of radiation on the changes in sperm cells is unknown. One theory says the phone will heat up when in use so that it will increase the temperature around the male genital organs when stored in a pants pocket.

Another hypothesis states that it is concerned with electromagnetic frequencies emitted by cell phones. Both the cell body or cell phones emit electromagnetic frequency and high frequency radiation will be absorbed by the body up to the network thereby increasing the molecular motion in the cell body.
